We are in lock 🔐 down, but the plants are growing!

The greenhouse is bulging with plants 🌱. We managed to get compost before travel was restricted, so have enough for seed rearing.

We use grow bags and compost for cucumbers 🥒 , tomatoes 🍅 and chillies 🌶 in the greenhouse. Currently I am not sure if we can get these. Hopefully we can find someone who will deliver.

If not, it is going to have to be a mix of garden soil and last year’s spent compost with an added fertiliser of some description. Now need to think of containers to put the improvised compost in!

Read my blog about buying a Victorian farm house in Devon, England. What started as a dream of self sufficiency, is now a midlife reality.
